If you follow physical exercise, adequate sleep, and a proper diet, you can stay healthy for a long time.

Changes that occur in the body after sixty:

Exercise cannot be omitted:

Walking, lifting weights like five to ten pounds etc. can be done regularly to stay healthy.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that at least 150 minutes of walking, moderate-intensity exercise, or 75 minutes of vigorous training per week is beneficial for those 65 and older.

Brisk walking, weight lifting, cycling, moderate intensity yoga, hiking, jogging, and running are among the vigorous activities.

You can stay healthy after 60 through regular exercise. If you have any doubts about exercise, it is useful to talk to a specialist about it.

Skin changes cannot be ignored:

According to Markeizi, "After the age of sixty, various skin problems, infections, decay, skin cancer, etc. can appear. Sleep cannot be skipped:

Older adults produce less of the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin, so short naps during the day should be avoided. It will not disturb sleep at night. A specialist should be consulted if sleep or rest disturbances occur.”

Don't forget to get vaccinated:

“After the age of 60, the production of 'T' cells slows down, resulting in reduced immunity. Elderly infections such as influenza and pneumonia occur and take longer to recover from.


“Specifically formulated vaccines reduce the risk of such diseases in the elderly,” advises Marquezzi. So don't forget to get the necessary vaccinations for the elderly."
